Hatteras 56 Motor Yacht

A mighty vessel! “Ella Ray” is a 1982 Hatteras 56 Motor Yacht full of features & amenities.

She boasts twin Detroit Diesel closed cooling engines (435 HP each), and twin Kohler 20 kW raw water cooled generators.

Boarding from either side onto the catwalks, the bow features two dock boxes for storage & seating for outdoor enjoyment. The aft deck is accessible via catwalks or through the salon. There is a wet-bar with a fridge & plenty of seating within the Isinglass enclosed room. The ladder will take you to the bridge hosting additional seating, a gas grill, and the upper helm station equipped with Garmin GPS, Autopilot, Icom VHF, and Danforth compass.

The salon makes use of the large 18’ 2” beam with plenty of seating and space in-between. A large L-shaped sofa stretches along the port side to the backside of the lower helm in addition to twin wicker barrel chairs with ottomans, tables, and a 55” LG flat screen TV. Her lower helm is equipped with the aforementioned electronics in-between mid-ship doors for easy access to the catwalks & bow.

Stepping down, the galley is furnished with a large double door Fisher Paykel refrigerator/freezer, Frigidaire 4-burner stove & oven, LG microwave oven, stainless steel double bowl sink, garbage disposal, and ample pantry space. There is also a countertop bar with two chairs & more storage.

Her forward stateroom accommodates with twin bunks, closet, drawers, and an on-suite head with full shower stall. Similar amenities are found towards the aft. Down the first corridor a washer & dryer are on the left before another marine head with full shower. The next room over is the guest stateroom with twin berths & closet space. Walking down the companionway, past the standing engine rooms, the master stateroom is very spacious with a centerline queen berth surrounded by drawers, counters, closets, a desk, and on-suite head with full shower.
